ACH Group Enterprise Agreement – REACH FOR MOREAfter over a year of negotiations, an agreement covering ACH Group Coordinators, Assessors and Team Managers is being put to a vote.
There are some positives and small wins in the Agreement. However, your ASU Representatives - Julien Moreton, Claire Kernich, Cheryl Richardson and Leanne Kuchel - are recommending that you vote NO The top 5 key areas as identified by YOU for the agreement were:
The pay increase and the compensation for On Call do not meet expectations and are the main reason for voting NO. While we have won improved Time Off In Lieu arrangements, ACH has denied access to PDOs and this agreement would in fact remove them for staff who currently access them at Mile End. We were able to secure a workload review for Coordinators in the first year of the Agreement; however ACH Group refused to include Assessors and Team Managers. We have been able to secure a Staff Consultative Committee but it will only meet once a year.
By voting YES, you will lock yourself into these conditions for 3 years.By voting NO, your Representatives will be able to show ACH Group that staff demand a better deal and go back to the bargaining table. In the coming weeks, we will be updating you with more information, so stay tuned.
