Clicking this link will navigate you to the ASU National Office Website portal for the secure online joining facility. The first month Union Subscrition fee may differ slightly from the ongoing ASU SA + NT Branch fees, to meet uniform requirements across the ASU Branches. The fee structure (you will be charged after the first month) is on the Membership Form pdf below. You will be notified of your subscription rate, based on your salary with your new members information sent to you from the SA Branch office.

Step 1 - Download the ASU Membership Form

Step 2 - Calculate your Union fees using the table attached to the Membership Form

Step 3 - Complete all relevant details on the form and mail or fax it to the ASU office

Once your membership form is received by the ASU Office you will receive a letter of confirmation and an ASU membership card.

Important Information

SERVICE FEE POLICY

If an individual joining the Union requires assistance with an existing problem, or where the Union is satisfied that the problem was pre-existing, a service fee equivalent to one year's subscriptions must be paid on joining and the member must sign up to commence payment by regular credit card or direct debit deductions from the date of joining which will commence in addition to the fee. In these instances the ASU will provide information, advice and in some circumstances, a limited level of representation.

The Australian Services Union SA & NT Branch and the Amalgamated ASU (SA) State Union are registered employee organisations / associations pursuant to the Australian Workplace Relations Act 1996 and the SA Employee and Industrial Relations Act 1994. Members of the union are subject to its rules which are approved by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and the Industrial Relations Commission of South Australia.
