URGENT NEWS

People's Choice management have ignored your claim. In the first meeting since your claim has been tabled, management have advised your ASU bargaining team that management's original offer (apart from a few token amendments) is their first and final offer. Management have refused to address your claim, once again showing their disrespect for you.

No choice at People's Choice

They say there will be no negotiation. Just cop that. Too bad about good faith bargaining! Too bad about fairness! Too bad about Choice! On top of all of that you have been ignored about your reasonable request to put Agreement coverage aside until the negotiations have concluded. Management are going to start their process now - A process they have decided on their own. A process that your ASU does not agree with. A process that we have specifically requested to be involved in: to ensure that employees making decisions will be properly informed.

You leave us with no Choice

Your ASU is left with no choice but to lodge a dispute with Fair Work Australia to stop employees at People's Choice Credit Union being railroaded into making decisions about opting in or out of an agreement (before knowing what is in it!) and about the incredible lack of good faith bargaining. This is evident in the total disregard for your issues in your claim for your agreement tabled by the representatives of the biggest group of employees at the bargaining table. It is also evident in management now slamming out an agreement and trying to push it through in the next couple of weeks.
